Meanwhile at Peach Grove Corner's University
Jennifer Flower sat in a warm grassy area at the center of campus. She was enjoying the sun on her face and her brown bag lunch as she mentally unwound from the days exams. She had forgotten how stressful college could be. After all it has been nine years since she had quit school with her psychology degree unfinished to help out her husband in the diner. She had always felt bad about quitting when she only had a year left to complete, so with Dan's encouragement she enrolled and was now midway through one semester. She was glancing though her abnormal psych text book and realized to her dismay that she hadn't gotten quite a few questions wrong. She looked up, someone was calling her name.

Meanwhile at Flower's Luncheonette
Dan Flower shifted in his shoes nervously. Bobby Dangerous had just ordered a Sanka and they were all out. "Er, Sorry Bobby. It looks like we just ran out of Sanka. If you don't mind waiting a few minutes, I'll brew a fresh pot and I'll give you the first cup."
"I get it Flower, you don't serve my kind in here right." Bobby said as he stood up from the stool.
"No, Bobby, it isn't that at all. We're happy to have you. I just ran out Sanka. See the pot empty," He said as he pointed to the coffee maker.
"My moneys no good here, huh Flower. Your old man was too good to serve my old man and now you're too good to serve me. I get your drift."
"Really Bobby, I'll give you the cup for free if you want," With that Dan stopped talking. Bobby and he had this conversation everytime he was out of Sanka, or the Sanka was cold or the Sanka wasn't made right. There was no sense arguing with Bobby Dangerous. Dan just hoped he would leave without causing any damage.

Meanwhile in the office of George Dewitt
George Dewitt sat behind his enormous solid cherrywood desk, leaning backwards in his chair, with a cigar in his right hand. He gave a broad smile to the two people seated in the high leather wingbacks across from him. "I want you to know that the two of you did a top notch job jumpstarting our new carpentry tools division. Top notch. We have never had a campaign that brought the stores so much pure profit. Thanks to your efforts the company will now be able to far exceed our quarterly earnings estimate." Cara Todd smiled to herself. The man seated next to her Brent Dewitt or "Brent the Dimwit" as she called him, had nothing to do with the new division. This had been her brainchild and she had done all of the work. None of that mattered now as George was about to name her head of the new division and she would finally get the position she deserved.

Meanwhile at Peach Grove Corners University
Jennifer smiled as the attractive figure of Dr. Eugene Chan approached her and stood next to her on the grass. "Hi Dr. Chan. Would you like to sit down for awhile?"
"No thanks, Jennifer. I've got a faculty meeting. I was just wondering how you made out on the abnormal psych exam today," He said as he swept his had through his hair and tightened the sweather tied around his neck.
She sighed as she glanced down at her textbook, "I don't think I did so well. I was just going through the chapters and I found a few things I know I answered incorrectly."
"I wouldn't worry about it Jennifer. I know you work harder than anyone in that class. I'm sure you did fine and don't forget that I grade on a curve."
"I know," said Jennifer sadly, "College is just so much more difficult that I remember. I don't know if I've got what it takes to keep up with all of these young kids."
"Jennifer," he said squatting down next to her and placing his hand on her arm,"I know that you are going to do just find. Give yourself a break. I'll tell ya what. What's important to me is that you learn the material. Why don't you come by my office later and we'll talk about a little extra credit.

Meanwhile at Peach Grove Corner's Hospital
Tammi unzipped the front of her nurse's uniform a couple of inches to reveal a hint of cleavage. Dr. Peter Dungle had summoned her to his office to go over a couple of cases and she was going to try and get his attention. Tammi knew that this attempt was in vain. Women were always trying to catch the eye of Dr. Peter Dungle, but he was married to his work. He had been in town for eight years and as far as anyone knew had not dated anyone. She walked into his office and was about to say something when she was struck by what she saw. Dr. Dungle was sitting behind his desk stroking the hair of a small Raggedy Ann doll. He didn't see her. She closed the door quietly and than knocked and opened the door again. The doll was nowhere to be seen. She said, "Excuse me Dr. Dungle, you wanted to see me."

Meanwhile at the home of Florence Van Wildermeter
The dashing distinguished figure strode across the room and stood inches from Florence's face. "I see you still like your Old Fashions in the afternoon. How about pouring me one of those."
"Lars Fordham, I had hoped I would never lay eyes on your miserable face again." Even as she said this, a wave of excitement caused color to come to her face. Lars Fordham was her seventh husband and the one whom she had been most passionate about. She was devastated the day he left and always hoped he would come back one day. And now, what was he doing here?
"Who are you kidding Florence, your face gives you away everytime. You have been praying for me to come back for years. Time hasn't been kind to you Florence, but I can still see a fire inside of you." He walked over to the bar to fix himself a drink.
"Just what do you think you're doing - Get out of here," she yelled while privately wishing that he would stay and profess his love for her.
"Not until I get what I came for."

Well, that does it for this episode of The Twistings of Time. Sappy music plays as the credits roll.
