BabyOwls was started in 2002 by a tired stay at home mother. The site took several months to finish as the stay at home mother was not given much chance to work by her stay at home child whose favorite activities were staying up all night and never taking a nap. This inspired the tired mother to create a website to give mother's something to do at night when they were up with their babies and bored to tears (or just in tears.)
Knowing how uncreative she really was, the stay at home Mom brought her stay at home Friend on board. The stay at home friend just happend to be an artist who was talented enough to draw the "BabyOwl." The finished product of their efforts is this site which truly has been a labor of love.
